If these walls could talk, what would they say?
Would they echo the voices of citizens who stood here, sharing their hopes, dreams, and concerns for our city?
Would they tell stories of collaboration, determination, and dedication to strengthening Greensboro and making it more vibrant?
Would they speak of decisions that shaped our community for the better, moments of unity, and leadership that inspired progress?
Pause for a moment and imagine these walls speaking to you. They have witnessed decades of leadership and moments where ordinary citizens stepped up to create extraordinary change. History is being written tonight—and every night—within these walls.

We can add a new chapter to Greensboro’s story this Tuesday night. The City Council will hold a special meeting to appoint a replacement for the vacant At-Large seat. Twenty applicants, myself included, will stand before the council to deliver three-minute presentations outlining our qualifications, vision, and readiness to serve.
This meeting is more than a formality—it’s a chance for our community to unite and shape Greensboro’s leadership. The decisions made in this room impact us all, and the next council member must be someone who can lead with integrity, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively for the betterment of our city.
I believe I am uniquely qualified to fill this role. My passion for Greensboro runs deep, and my experience has prepared me to serve with purpose and dedication. Whether it’s working to enhance public safety, promote sustainable growth, or foster a sense of unity, I am committed to building a stronger, more inclusive Greensboro.
But I can’t do it alone. Your support matters now more than ever. When you join us on Tuesday night, you’re not just a spectator but a participant in Greensboro’s history. Your presence sends a message that you care about the direction our city is heading, and it ensures that the voices of our community remain central to the decisions being made.
Meeting Details:
These walls have seen the hopes and dreams of generations. They’ve witnessed the power of collaboration and progress when leaders and citizens work together. What will these walls say about us? Let them tell the story of a community that showed up, spoke out, and chose a brighter future for Greensboro.
Thank you for believing in me and our city. I am honored to stand before you as a candidate for the At-Large seat and as someone dedicated to serving District 4 in November. Together, we can continue to build a Greensboro we are all proud to call home.
