BUILDING A BETTER GREENSBORO, TOGETHER.

Thank You, Lily Oatis, for a Thoughtful Interview

Grateful for a Fair and Insightful Interview on Not Just Headlines

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Lily Oatis, a young and talented journalist and producer of the podcast “Not Just Headlines.” Her recent interview with both me and my opponent was fair, professional, and well-prepared. Lily represents the next generation of thoughtful storytellers who bring balance and integrity to local journalism, and I appreciate the opportunity to share my vision for Greensboro’s future through her platform.

If you live in Greensboro’s District 4, the choice for new leadership is clear. I’m Nicky Smith, and with my years of proven business and community leadership, I’m ready to bring the experience and accountability our city urgently needs. Greensboro cannot afford another 20 years of the same career politicians making the same mistakes.

I know how to manage budgets, strengthen infrastructure, and make our neighborhoods safer. I will bring common sense and responsible spending back to City Hall by examining our city’s budget line by line, cutting waste, and ensuring your tax dollars are used wisely.

But change only happens if you vote. Tell your friends, family, and neighbors that their voices matter. Greensboro can’t grow under the same leadership—and my opponent represents more of the same status quo.

Vote wisely. Vote Nicky Smith for Greensboro City Council, District 4.

Nicky Smith brings decades of business experience to the challenge of making government work efficiently for the people of Greensboro.
