I had the pleasure of working with Nicky Smith on the Preserve Friendly Avenue project, and I was so impressed by his dedication and vision. He helped lead the charge with his website, Facebook engagement, emails, and outreach to local news—without his efforts, our overlay may not have been successful. Nicky is an astute businessman with incredible talents in communication, fiscal responsibility, leadership, and long-term planning. As a lifelong Greensboro resident, he truly understands our city and is committed to shaping it in a way that serves both today’s families and future generations, while preserving the character that makes Greensboro special. He listens, collaborates, and cares deeply about the people he serves. Our city would be fortunate to have Nicky Smith leading the way!
